hmmm...the nudges I've been getting lately are about bigger things, completely unrelated to me. political things. current event things. they aren't really nudges for me to "do" anything, but rather to "pay attention" - like...hmmm...there's something going on there under the surface that I don't fully understand, but it will reveal itself in time.
I kinda feel like I am watching all kinds of things untangle themselves gradually, and I can't yet see what they are untangling to become.
Thank you, Sherry, this is so true. On my part, I always invite, myself and others, to follow the joy: if an idea-nudge feels attractive, follow the joy you know you’ll have creating and achieving it no matter what the outcome/result will be, it is who we’re becoming in the process, our growth, that matters. The rest doesn’t lie in our hands so why bother thinking about it? Just follow the joy. Lots of love.
This is a wonderful essay about "nudges," a term I love. Good for you for starting this successful podcast! It's easy to falter when trying something new, but you allowed courage to come forth.
For me, there have been a lot of nudges over the years, and I am glad to say I followed through! I've written in publications extensively about my breast cancer experience, as well as being a mom to an adopted child.
And my current adventure is giving me nudges, but it's requiring courage: I have started my own art business and am working on my website. My latest endeavor involves an oil painting series titled Breast Cancer, Female and Young, which involves showcasing tasteful nudes of young women who are grappling with breast cancer diagnosis/treatment. I hope to have this series shown in public spaces, such as galleries.
I love how you frame "following the nudges" as a playful journey. "Let’s go play!" – that's such a wonderful invitation. It’s easy to get bogged down in the seriousness of... everything?? feeling like everything has to be perfectly planned and executed.
But what if we approached life with a bit more whimsy?
Your experience with starting the podcast is so inspiring. It proves that sometimes, just taking that first small step, even if it feels a bit silly or scary, can lead to the most unexpected and joyful adventures. Thank you for reminding us to embrace the fun and follow the nudges!

Love that Teri! Nudges to pay attention.
Keep following those nudges! I love where they are taking you.
PS you do rock at podcasting.
Thank you chica!🥰

Thank you Alex! I definitely had to and continue to open myself to more playfulness. Following the nudges has been just that.
