You will be to.

Those of us who have children will one day come to the season in our lives when we will be empty nesters. That season when all the minions will have left the nest and will test their wings and fly.
They will take all the seeds you have planted inside of them, watered and nurtured with love, tears, trials, and tribulations. Holding them when they fall, letting them have their experiences that life will teach them, even though it’s hard for your heart not to want to jump in and save them. And yes, those moments when we must jump in and save them.
We’ve provided a safe space for them to experience all the ins and outs, pains and joys that life would present them, through their choices—some wise and some, to our chagrin, not so much.
We’ve spent countless hours on our knees praying for them, put thousands of miles on our cars taking them from here to there, and made midnight runs to the hospital. The countless talks, reminding them of the things you’ve already reminded them to remember ten times that day. Yes, I’m laughing to. 😅
The list goes on and on.
We are the witness to their lives as they are to ours. They were love at first sight as we locked eyes with them at birth. They are our anger, our sadness, our joy.
Our memories are long and our hearts are full of love as we send them off to live their lives, praying that all we have poured into them, they will use.
From womb to tomb they are our heart beat.
The kids are fine. And you will be to.
Love S❤️
