Nobodies perfect

Good morning lovelies.

I just wanted to take this moment to thank all of you who have checked in on me and sent words of encouragement on and off the page.

Some of you privately send beautiful quotes, messages, and virtual hugs and I can not tell you how they have come at just the right time I thank you from the bottom of my heart. 🥹❤️

I was thinking about how important it is to have a healthy balance on social media because it can be a slippery slope. You only get snippets of moments of a human life that is being lived daily. What is shared on social media can never show what is truly happening in real life.

I understand the delicacy of sharing moments of my life, with the hopes of inspiring, encouraging, and supporting others in there's. Some of my moments can seem like I don't have a care in the world. But you don't get to witness the few hours before when I got into an argument with my hubby on some silly disagreement that escalated because we both were fighting to be right. 😵‍💫

Or the day when I cried all morning wondering what in the world am I doing here in this country away from my kids! 😩 Melting from the heat worsened by hot flashes! 🥵 and many other meltdown moments of feeling useless, powerless, scared, and insecure. Yep, these are just a few of the daily battles that are tempered in between the beautiful moments.

Then I think of someone out there in the world that may be having a hard time and may not for some reason be able to talk about how they are feeling. Or they feel too embarrassed, guilty, or ashamed, especially when they see these snippets of people seeming to be living their best lives on social media, which can be true but it's not all of their life that you get to see. The in-betweens that are not so “camera worthy”.

So thank you when you see me beyond this page. Because I see you beyond it. That's why I try to share not just the good times but the vulnerable, messy doesn't feel so good times, as well.

We all need to be reminded that nobody is living a perfect life. No matter how shiny it looks online. If I could be in each of your lives in real time I would choose that over this page. To give you a real-life hug, look in your eyes, and tell you that you are beautiful and an awesome woman, mom, sister, and friend…all the things.

Going forward I will view this page like a love letter written back and forth to one another hoping you look forward to hearing from me just as much as I look forward to hearing from you! Love notes from afar to each other. (oh how I miss handwritten letters and getting them in the mail) 🥹

I hope this love note ❤️reaches as many of you as possible.
