What does that even mean?
There are days when you have conversations that are a gift and a game-changer.
I am so blessed to have women in my life who we truly pour into one another. Women who show up, trusting their gut when they feel the need to check in, genuinely wanting to know how each other are doing.
I am deeply grateful for the wisdom of these women, who are further along in their journey and share insights with me like sacred downloads, exactly what I need at that moment.
Their words quench my spiritual and creative thirst, guiding me to grow, expand, and uncover my ever-evolving sacred work.
Today, one of my dearest friends (pictured with me) and I talked about mastering your sovereignty.
“What does that mean?” I asked my friend. As we conversed these are some of the things we discussed:
- Self-awareness—understanding your emotions and values.
- Letting go of beliefs that no longer serve you.
- Releasing systems you don’t align with.
- Owning and embodying your truth.
- Trusting yourself.
- Taking responsibility for how you show up in the world.
- Setting boundaries to protect your well-being.
- Living with purpose and not seeking validation from others.
This is the work I’ve gathered the courage to do over time.
As a writer, as a woman, as a human, mastering my sovereignty is my mission—especially now.
I want to own my voice, trust myself, speak it boldly, and share it with others to hopefully inspire, as I’ve been inspired.
This journey is not linear. It’s an ebb and flow. A Topsy Turvy at most times very bumpy ride that most of us would like to jump off of.
It tests our nerve and resilience to change and let go of whats comfortable and familiar.
Our work may look different at times, but at its core, it will always reflect the essence of who we are.
When we embody and embrace that truth staying honest with ourselves and taking responsibility for our choices, it moves us out of avoidance, procrastination, and perfectionism, into acceptance, receiving, and action.
That’s where the magick ✨ happens—inviting us to play with curiosity and endless possibilities.
Oh my goodness, that’s the stuff of life. Oh boy, how I needed to hear all of that this morning.
That was the gift my dear friend gave me today in one conversation.
Who pours into you and what wisdom can you share?
Yeeessss! As my circle says “Own It!” Your power, your story, your magic! To me sovereignty is not only this but it’s knowing that authenticity is the ruler/queen/goddess of an individuals kingdom or land.
