Sometimes you're in, sometimes you're out.
Sometimes you're certain, then riddled with doubt.
Sometimes you're up, sometimes you're down.
Sometimes you smile, sometimes you frown.
Sometimes you stay, sometimes you leave.
Sometimes you hope, sometimes you grieve.
Some days you laugh, some days you cry.
Sometimes you're honest, and sometimes you lie.
Sometimes you love, sometimes you hate.
Sometimes you forgive, sometimes you wait.
Sometimes you're loud, and sometimes you're still.
Sometimes you won’t, and sometimes you will.
The days I do, and the days I don't;
The days I will, and the days I won't.
They are all me, in raw complexity,
And sometimes you won’t understand or get me.
I have learned that we’re all full of duality—
All the parts of us that make us unique.
I am not you, and you are not me,
So let’s give each other space to simply be.
I’ve made my peace, no longer shrinking and playing small.
What others may think? I sometimes care,
But most times now, not much at all.
With warmth and wonder,
Sherry🦋
You will certainly enjoy Amanda's lesson from today in Creator Retreat! I have that feeling after reading this 😉
Yes! My dear friend! You're describing who we are! I would love to have coffee together about this writing! This is so deep. 🥰Should we never shrink or make our selves small? And I know what you mean! You're amazing! ❤️
